Getting Started

…And They're Off!

First thing to do is slow down! Your ancestors are not going anywhere, unless of course you don’t start at the beginning. There are many ways to start and this section may not be what you thought. In this section, we concentrate on getting your supplies together, preserving the information you already have, and organization. This may not be the most glamorous part; however, it may be one of the most important. That part about losing your ancesters will come into play if you are slap-dash in your research, which could lead to you finding then losing the one vital piece of information on your long lost relative. In this section, we will cover:

  • Supplies
  • Storage
